Just a few photos
from our recent livestock expositions in Brazil . . .
A few times the stand has been located in the international pavilion.
Lots of foot traffic though not all visitors are considered "qualified
leads".
During the last few goat expositions, the stand has been located right
next to the judging ring. Super location . . . lots of foot traffic and nearly all
are breeders.

The outside walls display photos and promotional materials supplied by the
exhibitors.
Each exhibitor's name is listed on a banner on the outside of the stand.
Sometimes ranch logos have also been included.
The last couple of years, a poster with each exhibitor's contact
information was displayed next to an acrylic business card holder with a supply of
business cards. This was well received by both the visitors and the exhibitors that
attended the exposition.
Also displayed outside is a list of the services that can be provided to
those that wish to import.
Flags are always prominently displayed, either outside or inside the
stand.
Exhibitors' photos are also displayed inside the stand.
Each year the layout is a little different but the exhibitor's name is always
attached to the photo.
Sometimes exhibitors' brochures are displayed on a table outside the stand
(depending upon the weather). But more frequently, they are personally handed to
those that seem to be potential buyers.
The primary goal of the expo is to obtain information on potential buyers.
Each visitor is invited to complete a reply card or deposit their business card in
the ballot box. This makes them eligible in the drawing for a Texas Belt Buckle - always a
HOT item!
A private conference room provides an area for quiet discussions while
visitors browse through the photos and catalogs in the other room.
Luis with our favorite Brazilian hostess, Rossana, who has worked in AGI's
stand for the last five years.
Hopefully this will give you an idea of the type of promotion done at
recent
livestock expositions with American Genetics and U.S. breeders and suppliers working
together to promote U.S. goods and services.
